Quebec City in Autumn on a Snowy Canada New England Cruise

I’ve visited Quebec City many times, but this was my first Canada New England fall cruise.  When Celebrity Constellation departed from Bayonne, New Jersey, there was only a hint of autumn in the air. Perfect fall weather.

I never expected to experience an actual major winter weather event on this cruise. Living in Florida for almost 22 years, I’d forgotten how fickle autumn winds can be, especially towards the end of October.

Our first stop on this 14-day autumn cruise, round-trip to Quebec City, was Portland, Maine.

England lifts journey limitations for vaccinated People, Europeans

England declared on Wednesday that it will start making it possible for absolutely vaccinated tourists from other parts of Europe and the United States to enter the nation.

Grant Shapps, England’s transportation minister, tweeted that the shift will come as the state attempts to assistance “reunite folks dwelling in the US and European nations around the world with their loved ones and friends in the United kingdom.”

UPDATE 1-Soccer-Italy warns fans from England not to use vacation loopholes

ROME, July 1 (Reuters) – Italy has warned any fans from England not to try out to use loopholes in COVID vacation limitations to sneak into the quarter-finals Euro 2020 clash between England and Ukraine in Rome on Saturday, even if they have a ticket.

In an effort to prevent the spread of the hugely contagious Delta coronavirus variant, Rome last month released a five-working day quarantine for anybody coming to Italy who experienced been to Britain in the past two weeks.

It made an exception for quick-continue to be business enterprise visits and people in transit, but on Thursday the Italian embassy in London issued a statement stating any person in the state less than these instances will not be allow into the stadium.
